The Johnson Lake Hike & Bike Project is designed for taking a moment in nature, enjoying a vigorous walk or bike ride. Phase one, the Larry Roper Trail is 1.5 miles long and the trailhead starts at the Outlet just off Johnson Lake Drive. Phase two, the Paul Matson Trail is 2.0 miles long. The trailhead starts at the inlet campground and follows the irrigation canal south to Sandy Point.
